MySuper was introduced to ensure default members - those who do not make an active investment choice - are provided with a cost-effective, simple super product.
We took this opportunity to deliver you ANZ Smart Choice Super, the easy and low cost way to make the most of your super.
|Who has a new ANZ Smart Choice Super account?|
1. Existing default members
If you hadn't chosen your own super fund or investment option, and your employer or you were making contributions, an ANZ Smart Choice Super account was automatically opened for you in November last year.
All new contributions have since been directed straight into your new account. For a while, you’ll have two accounts until we transfer your original account balance over to your ANZ Smart Choice Super account by July 2017 (unless you direct us to do so sooner).
If you hadn’t chosen your own super fund or investment option, and have not been making contributions until now, an ANZ Smart Choice Super account will be opened for you on receipt of the next contribution.
2. New members
All new employees to employer super plans will have an ANZ Smart Choice Super account opened for them.

1. Choice members
|If you’ve already chosen your own super fund or investment option, the MySuper changes do not affect you for now and your super will continue to be invested in the same way.|
2. Defined benefit and capital guaranteed members
|There are also a few other exceptions where you may not be impacted. These include if you are a defined benefit member, or are 100% invested in a capital guaranteed or cash fund. However, where you have chosen the plan’s investment default as your investment option, we are required by law to transfer your account balance to a MySuper product by 1 July 2017.|

|Late November 2013||We began opening new ANZ Smart Choice Super accounts for MySuper members|
|1 January 2014||All new contributions for MySuper members are now directed to an ANZ Smart Choice Super account|
|By 1 July 2017||All existing super account balances for MySuper members must be consolidated into their ANZ Smart Choice Super account|

- Register for ANZ Internet Banking
- If you're new to ANZ, call 1800 146 129 to register.
- If you're already registered, log in, click on 'update details' and link your super account
- Get sorted on anz.com
- Log into ANZ Internet Banking and click in your super account.
- Look in 'Manage my account' and check your details are correct and your mobile number and preferred email addresses are recorded.
- Take your super with you
- Download the ANZ goMoney™ app.
- See your super on the go, anytime using your 4-digit pin.
