If you get broken into, or your belongings get damaged, it can be a very stressful time. But you can rest assured that we’ll make claiming as easy as possible, with round-the-clock claims support.

To make a claim:

Contact us on 13 16 14 and advise us of the claim details. We’re open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Complete the claim form online.

Note: before returning or submitting your claim form, please ensure you’ve got all necessary supporting information.

1. An item may be repaired or replaced, or the cost of repair or replacement may be paid to you.

2. We do not cover the cost to repair or replace an electric motor if it is older than 15 years old.

3. Coverage option must be selected to apply.  We won't cover damage caused by an event excluded under any section of the policy. For example, we won’t cover loss when you can't establish the cause or loss or damage to sporting equipment while it is being used.

4. Cover away from home: Your contents are covered away from home anywhere in Australia and New Zealand for up to 120 consecutive days if the damage or loss occurs as a result of an event we have agreed to cover. Your contents are covered away from home outside Australia and New Zealand for up to 120 consecutive days and up to 25% of the sum insured or $15,000, whichever is the lesser, if the damage or loss occurs as a result of an event we have agreed to cover. This does not apply if you have chosen the option to remove cover away from home. Please refer to the ANZ Home Insurance Product Disclsore Statement (PDS) for full details.

5. The current maximum discount of 12.5% for holding 3 or more eligible policies is subject to change and exclusion. Please refer to the ANZ Home Insurance Product Disclsure Statement (PDS) for further details. 

6.Discounts are applied in a preset order and exclude any premium for Liability cover, Domestic Workers’ Compensation and are calculated before taxes and charges.

7. Reference to insurance premium amounts for the purposes of calculating the applicable Breakfree Package benefits exclude any stamp duty, GST and other government fees, charges or levies components that are included in the total premium amount paid by you.
