Up to $50,000 to help cover your ANZ credit card repayments.
We all love the convenience of credit cards. But if you were to become sick, injured or unemployed, your card could quickly get out of control.
ANZ Credit Card Insurance is an optional insurance cover that can help you stay on top of your credit card repayments each month. We may help you pay off your credit card balance if you are experiencing financial hardship due to involuntary unemployment, illness or if an injury stopped you from working². This cover is exclusive to ANZ credit cards.
You should note that you will not be covered:
- for most benefits if you have or should have a medical consultation for any illness, injury or symptom in the six months before your policy starts, and that illness or injury leads to your claim in the first six months after the policy starts
- for the Involuntary Unemployment benefit if you are working less than 10 hours a week, or if you are self-employed or working in a casual, contract, seasonal or temporary capacity, you have not been in that same occupation continuously for 90 days
- Help with repayments for up to 150 days, if you are unable to work due to sickness or injury1
- Help with repayments for up to 150 days, if you are made redundant from your job2
- Payment 2 times of your total amount outstanding up to $50,000, if you pass away
- Payment of your total amount outstanding up to $50,000, if you are permanently unable to return to work due to sickness or injury3 or suffer from a specified serious illness1

What it costs Show more
Only pay for what you use.
ANZ Credit Card Insurance is just 60 cents for every $100, calculated on your closing monthly balance4. The closing balance is the amount owing on the date that the credit card statement is produced, not the due date for payment. So the lower your credit card balance, the less it costs.
Your premiums are added to your ANZ credit card each month, so you won’t need to remember to pay a separate bill.
